Hey Joe Fresh Friends!
It seems like the temperature just keeps dropping and I am never going to shed my parka, snow boots and toque (I actually love my ribbed toque!) Is it really possible to look chic in winter (I don’t think so). When will it ever be spring?
In the fashion world spring has come and gone (the Fall 2011 Ready-To-Wear shows have already started, with Toronto up next!)…and it’s still snowing!
That said, the Joe Fresh Spring 2011 lookbook has landed on my desk (I love our cover model Siri! She had great energy on set!) and I wanted to share with you some of my fave Joe Fresh spring trends that also ruled the runways of New York, London, Milan and Paris.
Colour was everywhere! From neon brights to muted pastels – haute hues rocked the runway! Be brave and try head-to-toe colour – try the Joe Fresh red skinny jeans or the coral cargo jacket.
Make a bold statement in shine and shimmer. I love all the Joe Fresh sequin tees – très chic!
Neutrals are still going strong – so stock up on Joe Fresh cool cargos and a trench skirt.
Prints and pattern – you guessed it…we have tons of prints and pattern this season. Choose a lady-like spring print dress or a button-up shirt in preppy prints.
The right Stripes are at Joe Fresh! Nautical navy and white stripe tees look modern 24/7. Or make waves in a boat-neck striped tees available in every colour under the rainbow.
Happy Shopping!

Hi Clare – sorry you haven’t received a response – did you email customer service? At this time our collection goes up to size 16 and XXL. We appreciate those who have written in about petites and plus size and will continue to review.

I have checked out the comments and realize you answer only certain ones. Where to find certain items and how.
You never answer the real questions pertaining to the plus sizes or the petites.
I have e-mailed a few times asking about plus sizes and have never gotten a response.
Not impressed!!!!

Please introduce a Plus-Size line!!! I love Joe and always look at the clothing everytime I am in the store. Sadly nothing fits
It would make my year if you finally did a plus size line.

Thanks for the suggestion! We are actually putting this app on hold to replace it with a brand new one with more features for the fall!

I don’t like the app for iPhone . It would be much better
If I could see the whole collection there not just a few. Website is
Beautiful but again not very practical. I always
Have trouble finding xs sizes.

I don’t care what the “experts” say – no one should wear horizontal stripes unless they are a size 0. It is not flattering.
Your prices have increased and your trends are aimed at a limited age group – do you have a new person in charge of the whole “Joe” line? I for one am not impressed. Stick to what you do best – inexpensive clothes that everyone can wear.

I echo Paulette’s comment. I can’t get pants that are small enough. So frustrating!

I love your styles however, I do find your footware runs small. Had you ever considered carrying size 11??

What colour lipstick are the cover models wearing? Thanks for any help.

Hi I was wondering if you were ever going to put this white dress I saw on your Facebook photo’s. It was from your spring runway presentation. It is white with a belt and some lace on top. I would love to buy it,if it is available.

It is in stores now. You can give customer service a call and they can try a couple of your local stores to see if it is still in stock there: 1-888-495-5111.

I’ve been to my local Superstore to look for that cute new bow trench, but they said they’ve never seen it before. Do you know if it has gotten into stores yet or do you know what stores in Winnipeg carry it? Thanks!

I really liked the cargo pants you have this season but I wish you would offer smaller sizes or at least a size smaller than 2; I was floating in them! Also, last winter’s down outerwear could have been better quality. I wouldn’t mind paying a bit more for better fabrics and workmanship. I remember trying a down toggle coat and it looked cute but the lack of a collar completely defeated the purpose – gotta keep your neck covered in our rough canadian weather!

I love the mixing and matching of the patterns.
I so had to buy the boyfriend slim jeans. They are so soft & comfortable, I love them. My next spring must have is the ballet flats.

A lot of the new items appear to be aimed at the 25 and under set in both design and cut. Good for them, not so good for all of us beyond that. We still desire trendy, modestly priced fashions that are appropriate for ladies who actually possess hips. The sizing could definitely be more all encompassing. I like Joe but am a little concerned by the new trend. If you have other fashions please show us!

Why have your prices increased sooo much from last year. I won’t be spending as much this year!

I do like your clothes . Everything is so on trend and your quality is great but would like more forgiving styles for the more mature figure even it you had to charge more. It would be worth it.

I don’t like it-what ever happened to fashion that anyone can wear???

Hi!
Great Spring Collection! I normally visit a Superstore here in North Vancouver, BC, which is very well stocked. BUT, I’m “petite” – 5ft 1′and about 112 lb – and it’s really hard for me to find clothes that fit me right, especially pants. Are you planning on including a petite line any time soon? Thanks.

I agree Colleen, larger sizes would be great. Many a friend has said they would buy Joe Fresh if they started making some plus size items. Why leave these girls out? They have money to spend, want to spend it on Joe Fresh, but cannot. A plus size line would undoubtedly be a winner.

I agree with the prices. I bought a LOT more when the prices were lower. This season with the increased prices I still love the styles but will have to cut back on the amount of items I buy.

Hello – the dress is in store now and featured here: http://www.joefresh.com/en/clothing/spring_2011_collection/features/#/women/dresses/page/1

I agree with the site not being user-friendly. It offers very little of your collection for the current digital age.
As well, your email showed a red wrap dress that I am very interested in, yet you do not have it on your site or in your spring collection “flyer”. This happens regularly. Why show me a snapshot in my email and offer no other information on the product? It doesn’t make me want to go into the store – it gets me aggravated that you’ve wasted my time and my email.
I also agree that it’s disappointing to see the rising prices in your line. That was the major draw.

Check out our new spring features section – http://www.joefresh.com/en/clothing/spring_2011_collection/features/ – we will be updating this more regularly with new items.

I do no find this site user friendly at all….I also agree with Sandra…since I also don’t live near any superstores – I rely on your site to keep me up with the latest additions – but sadly we get just a few obscure items. When I get to the store – everything I liked online has sold out! We should all know ahead of time what is coming – not GONE!
Posted by Jan March 18, 2011 11:04 am
Please make them in larger sizes, at the store where I go, the largest sizes always sell very quickly. It would be great if you could make everything up to size 18 — thanks!

We still have $19 denim too! The $39 jeans have additional detailing.
Posted by Joe Fresh® Team March 18, 2011 10:08 am
$39 for those jeans?!? Last year they were $19. I won’t be buying those for $39. Sorry.

I’ve noticed some cute sleep pants in your March monthly must-haves but I want more! I’m all about Joe Fresh wonderful jammie sets (for females and males) but they never seem to be featured anywhere on your website or blog.
Since I don’t live conveniently close to any Joe Fresh stores, it’s very important for your website to provide as much info as possible before I make the trip to the store.
